	Registration and fees Please read these notes before completing the registration and booking form/s! Registration opens on August 31, 2007. Registration closed on December 17, 2007. Waiting list closed on December 28, 2007. December 28, 2007: it's time to close the waiting list!  We don't want to turn anyone away, but there is no point raising hopes. If you need to change your hotel booking (perhaps to add an extra night for one of the workshops), please send an  email to let us know. The next triennial conference will be in school year 2010-2011.  When we are ready to advertise, we shall send a one-time notice to everyone who attends the 2008 conference.  We are happy to add names and email addresses of those who don't get to Berlin.  If you would like to be added to the mailing list, please send us your name and email address. December 17, 2007: we have almost filled our quota, we cannot take many more registrations.  The holiday season is looming, and we may not be able to check daily for new registrations.  Rather than over-subscribe, it seems fairer to put a hold on new registration and to start a waiting list.  Please complete the standard registration form below. Sorry, form no longer available. l  The main Conference : February 29-March 2 >  Presenter Registration Fee: €120 We are happy to offer a special discount for individuals making conference presentations or leading a conference workshop. For joint presentations, only the first-named presenter will receive the discount. >  Early Bird Registration Fee: €220 August 2007: Registration and hotel booking opens at the Early Bird Registration rate. To receive the Early Bird Registration rate, registration and payment must be received by 30 November 2007. >  Standard Registration Fee: €280 December 2007: Standard Registration Fees apply. After December 14 there is no guarantee of accommodation at the conference hotel, nor of the preferential booking rates. l  Pre-Conference Workshops : February 28 >  Ross Todd workshop (optional) : fee : €100 Register for this workshop on the same form as for the main conference. Details of this workshop are available here <link>. >  We still wait details of another one (maybe two) optional pre-conference workshops. Two leading library management companies may be holding training workshops on the day before the Conference.  For these you will have to register directly with the company.  You will still need to register for the main conference and book your hotel room.  We will let you know as soon as we have full details. l The conference hotel : Courtyard by Marriott Berlin-Koepenick. All rooms are double rooms. >  Single use : €uro 90.00 per night (breakfast and taxes inc). >  Double use : €uro 110.00 per night (breakfast and taxes inc). l The registration and booking form/s WAITING LIST ONLY When you register for the waiting list, we'll need to know your hotel needs as well as your workshop & conference needs.  Please use one form per room.       If you are sharing your room, please enter two participants' details.       Otherwise please enter only one participant per form. We hope that most delegates (even those living in Berlin or Potsdam) will use the conference hotel.  If you will not be staying at the conference hotel, show "0 nights" for length of stay. You can now pay by Visa or Mastercard.  Many librarians (especially from outside the Euro zone) have reported difficulties in obtaining bank drafts, and this facility will certainly help them.  Please note that we have to pass on the credit card handling fee (€15.00 per transaction, plus 5% of the amount due).   Cancellation:  Refund of registration fees will be made if notice of cancellation is received at ecisberlin@read2live.com before 14 December 2007.  If payment was not made in €uro, then your refund may be subject to a deduction for bank charges. Cancellation after 14 December : 50% refund only. Cancellation after 14 January 2008 : no refund possible If at December 14 we have received fewer than 75 registrations, or if for any reason it later seems advisable to cancel the conference, registered participants will receive full refund of registration fees.   Berlin, the place to be in 2008.  We're going places!
